Bund Freier Tankstellen (BFT) ist the mouthpiece of the free gas stations in Germany. With more than 27,500 employees, the members of the bft operate public filling stations, mineral oil trading and heating oil trading companies, more and more providing renewable energies as well. Members of the association often carry the bft trademark at their station and thus document their affiliation with the association of independent petrol stations.

MEW Mittelständische Energiewirtschaft Deutschland e. V.
MEW is the Federation of independent small and medium sized Energy companies in Germany active in liquid energy fuel supply along the value chain “after” refineries. Security of energy supply is the heart of our members’ business which is driven by fair competition, innovation and the aim to deliver to climate change needs.
UTV
The Independent Tank Storage Association (UTV), founded in 1978 and based in Berlin, counts 27 members who, with their storage and handling facilities, represent the majority of the storage capacity available in Germany for the commercial handling of mainly mineral oil and chemical products. The member companies of the association, mostly small and medium-sized, have a total tank storage capacity of around 12.6 million cubic meters spread over 100 locations within Germany.
FPE
Fuel Power Energy e.V. is the interest group for the product residual oil as an energy source and its high profitability, especially for industrial heat generation and as a fuel for shipping. We are recognized specialists in this field who, working in various sectors, have joined together to form a support group. The FPE’s task is to provide competent advice on the use of heavy fuel oil, from planning and approval procedures to operation, including fuel storage. Second branch of renewable fuels becomes more and more momentum in our interest representation work.
AFM+E
The AFM+E is the association of foreign trade represents the interests of independent, small and medium-sized energy companies vis-à-vis politicians in the federal capital Berlin and in the federal states. The members are a mainstay of the energy supply in Germany, both, in terms of fossil as well as bio and synthetic fuels, respectively.
